How much is an estimate?
I do not charge for an estimate. In most cases I prefer to come and look at each job individually. It is the fairest for you and for myself when I can thoroughly inspect the project.
Why don’t you have an hourly rate?
I’m not just a handyman, I do a lot of custom carpentry work. Each job is individual and sourcing materials, giving estimates, and looking at each job takes time. I prefer to price my work per job. However, in many cases I can give you an estimate over the phone. You are welcome to send a text with photos of the repair and I will provide a price if possible.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes! I once drove several miles to remove two screws for a customer. This is my business and I believe in developing relationships and customers for life.
Do you warranty your repairs?
Absolutely! I stand behind the quality of my work. If you are in any way dissatisfied, contact me to discuss how I can address your concerns.
Can I pay by Credit card?
At this time, because we are a small company we are not set up for a large volume of credit card transactions. We can take credit cards if we need to but there is a 3% charge (what we are charged for processing). Sorry for the inconvenience.
Do you give senior or military discounts?
I strive to give honest and fair pricing to all of my customers, which is one reason I do not charge by the hour with a two-hour minimum like many handyman companies. There is no set discount for any certain group, however I make consideration for special circumstances when giving estimates as I care for those in my community.
